The Autonews team tested the updated Tank 400 and shared their findings.
The Tank 400 has taken the "golden mean" in the line: it is larger and more solid than the 300th, is close in comfort to the 500th and looks easily confused with the flagship 700th. Over the past year, the model has found more than 2.4 thousand owners — the interest in it is clearly high.
Technically, the car has remained the same, but it has become noticeably "smarter" and more convenient in daily operation.
what's new?
Full-fledged voice assistant
Now the car understands Russian and executes up to 800 commands: you can control the climate, windows, multimedia and even find out information about the car. Moreover, the system reacts not only to the driver, but also to passengers.
Built-in Yandex services
Navigation, music, and books are now right in the system. You can set the route by voice and go straight away. The map is duplicated on the dashboard and the projection on the glass.
Updates "over the air"
Now you don't have to go to the dealer — the system updates itself. This applies to multimedia, assistants, and other functions.
Comfort and interior:
- spacious interior, three-zone climate;
- high-quality noise insulation;
- Plenty of storage space;
- the socket is 220V.
Off-road potential: 235 mm ground clearance, all-wheel drive, downshift, 12 driving modes. According to the authors, this is one of the most prepared SUVs — it's not easy to find a real obstacle for it.
But there were some nuances:
- Suspension on asphalt conveys irregularities;
- Sometimes an unpredictable reaction to gas;
- Fuel consumption is from 11 liters/100 km.
